A 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 often connotes a very specific aesthetic expression, and often lasting shorter than a season, fashion is a distinctive and industry-supported expression traditionally tied to the fashion season and collections.Style is an expression that lasts over many seasons and is often connected to cultural movements and social markers, symbols, class and culture….

•𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀?

None can leave the house without making sure that they look acceptable for others, never mind , and it’s infuriating. In countries like South Korea, keeping up with the latest fashion and appearance is so important, it can affect your ability of gaining employment. That is taking fashion too far don’t you think?
In modern society, we place fashion too high on the scale.

•𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗵..𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲!

The fact that wearing a tracksuit or a suit changes people’s perceptions of someone’s personality is so ridiculous. And don’t get me started on brands. It doesn’t make you a better person if you wear a designer brand than a cheaper brand, it makes you a worse person if you think it does.

•𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲-

Dress codes are symbolic indications of different social ideas, including social class, cultural identity, attitude towards comfort, tradition and political or religious affiliations. Dress code is a set of rules, often written, with regards to clothing. Dress codes are created out of social perceptions and norms, and vary based on purpose, circumstances and occasions. Different societies and cultures are likely to have different dress codes,Western dress codes being a prominent example.

Yeah still… Dress codes in a work environment are something that doesn’t need to exist. I just don’t understand how wearing a tight pencil skirt is acceptable office wear for sitting down in an uncomfortable chair from 9 to 5. On the opposite end of the spectrum, those women that risk their health for wearing 4 inch stilettos to work every day are plain crazy, brave but crazy.
Fashion is so fickle and it’s exhausting having to keep up with trends. I don’t know how people does it.

Trends in fashion unify women and men around the world, yet they still allow people the ability to portray their own individual style at the same time. A period of time portrayed in a picture can be identified immediately just by the style of clothes the people are wearing, and this sums up just how powerful and all-encompassing fashion is. Fashion can change from one second to the next, but what never changes is the hold it has over society, and the role it plays in the modern world. Fashion is so important that whole magazines are dedicated to it, TV programs dedicate hours of transmission time to the subject, and people discus it between their friends continually.

To keep up with the latest fashions, people subscribe to fashion magazines, keep a keen eye on what has appeared in shops and what has been there for a long time, and go to fashion shows to see what the designers are putting on the catwalk this season, and therefore what will make it in to the shops. For the extremely wealthy, they might have their own personal relationship with a designer who will keep them well ahead of the current trends, therefore, many people wanting to know what the new fashion lines are going to be will watch what celebrities are wearing. Being ahead of fashion is for many, the ultimate achievement, although being too ahead of the fashion is just as bad as being behind it! If you are too far ahead people will think what you are wearing is not in fashion, because it isn’t, yet.
